I can’t believe that San Diego Comic Con 2011 is almost here! We have been working so hard on all of our new products for the convention season this year, and I am so excited to finally give you a sneak peek of something today! We are going to have two convention exclusives this year that will be available in limited quantities at San Diego Comic Con, Dragon*Con and New York Comic Con ONLY.
For Star Wars we are unveiling a new charm bracelet! We plan to release a new set of charms every year, so you will want to make sure that you get a bracelet as a base for this great collectors piece. Even though we have been designing with the symbols a lot already, I felt like using the Star Wars symbols for our first charm set made the most sense. This year, we are releasing 4 charms. We will be selling an Imperial logo charm and a Rebel Alliance charm starting at San Diego Comic Con and also on our website. As our convention exclusive we will have ONLY 150 charms of the Naboo symbol available at San Diego Comic Con. Finally, for the holidays in the fall, we will be releasing a Jedi symbol charm on our website. The bracelet and charms are all sterling silver plated and the bracelet comes with a charm of our exclusive Star Wars by Her Universe symbol. The Naboo charm will retail for $12.00.
For our second convention exclusive, we are releasing a necklace as a part of our new collection from Syfy! We will be unveiling a few pieces from our new line inspired by the Syfy brand and their shows. I am a HUGE Battlestar Galactica fan and I am so excited to offer a BSG exclusive this year! Inspired by our friend Erika, we will be selling ONLY 300 Toaster Necklaces at San Diego Comic Con. This high quality necklace and chain is 100% sterling silver and will retail for $60.00. At Celebration V our exclusive Star Wars necklace sold out in just a couple of hours on the first day! Geez, I barely got the Celebration V necklace in time and that was 10 minutes after the show opened the first day.
I hate to sound cranky pants but there’s so little out there for prequel fans/Padmé fans, it stinks that this charm is in such limited quantity. It’ll be gone preview night and I probably won’t even get my pass before it goes.
I will do my best to get the bracelet and what charms that will be available on the website. No Naboo charm for me though. Can’t afford or get the time off to go to SDCC, as much as I would love to go.

Oh, man! I’m a huge BSG fan and I would LOVE to buy that toaster necklace! I’m so bummed that it’s a SDCC exclusive–I live on the other side of the country and just don’t have the money for a trip to a con.
