What is her fangirl interest?

Mackenzie’s first love is Star Wars and The Clone Wars. Her favorite of the movies is Episode II: Attack of the Clones and her favorite character in the Star Wars Universe is Ahsoka Tano of the Clone Wars TV series. In addition to Star Wars, she loves superhero movies like Thor, Iron Man and The Avengers! She loves Black Widow. Outside of SyFy, Mackenzie loves horses and dancing and acting in her theater group. Her greatest desire is to one day have a role in a Star Wars movie!

Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this fangirl?

Mackenzie is my oldest daughter and has a deep love for all things geek (that Mommy and Daddy will let her watch at this age.

Acting out her favorite Star Wars scenes with her little sister, Emily. And making up new scenes.

Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this fangirl?

I want to nominate my daughter because of her passion for all things Star Wars. At 3 years old she asked for her own Jedi costume, and wore it to her first convention – where she meet Darth Maul actor Ray Park. From her Star Wars t-shirt collection, to finding ways to include Star Wars in her school projects, she is a huge Star Wars fangirl.

How does this fangirl express her fandom?

As much as she can! She loves to costume as some of her favorite Star Wars characters, such as Jedi, Leia and Padme, with a wish list for many more costumes. She loves to read Star Wars comics and books, play Star Wars games (Battlefront is one of her favorites). She even won a nationwide search for the biggest junior Star Wars fan in New Zealand, and got to visit Skywalker Ranch for the Episode 1 3D media event. She attended Celebration 6 with her parents, and got to meet Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Matthew Wood and Ashley Eckstein – an absolute dream come true for her. She proudly wore her Queen Amidala costume in the Dragon*Con 2012 parade and Star Wars costume contest, she loves being a part of the Star Wars community – and is hoping her parents will take her to more big Star Wars conventions in the future.

What is her favorite fangirl item that she cannot live without?

She absolutely loves her Skywalker Sound t-shirt that she bought during her trip to the Ranch, a memento of her visit and meeting Matthew Wood, the voice behind General Grevious, one of her all-time favorite characters.

Why did you decide to shine the spotlight on this fangirl?

Lexi loves to spend time giving back, she has volunteered at several Special Olympic events and since recently moving to the Orlando area she is a volunteer with Give Kids the World. She has said that she finds joy and inspiration from “hanging out” with the kids at Special Olympics and Give Kids the World.

How does this fangirl express her fandom?

Lexi has a Jawa Costume and has participated in several “troops” with the 501st (her uncle is part of the 501st and takes her along when permitted). She loves to be a part of the sometime crazy but mostly exciting fan base that she meets, while in costume. She doesn’t like it that the kids are sometimes scared, but she is very good about helping them relax and eventually can get them in a picture with her. But so far, she said that her favorite “troop” was for Give Kids the World, and the Science Center for the Star Wars exhibit was the second favorite.

What is her favorite fangirl item that she cannot live without?

Besides the Jawa Costume, she would not be able to live without a stuffed Yoda that she has had for some time now.

I am a HUGE lover of San Diego Comic Con. This will be my 5th year attending and I just LOVE helping others new and old have an awesome time with my favorite tips for the con!

She’s an Amazing person. Always sharing her love and knowledge of anything Star Wars, Retro video games, Anime Ect. Very Supportive, Motivator and strong woman. Willing to help anyone with no questions asked. Fun Loving ..her excitement for Star Wars is contagious.

She Goes to a lot of conventions, collects everything from Star Wars, retro video games, manga, comics, Ect.
