2023 Her Universe Fashion Show Submissions – NOW CLOSED
The Her Universe Fashion Show will be back in 2023 as THE MUST-SEE event at San Diego Comic-Con!
This year the Her Universe Fashion Show will celebrate Disney and is anticipated to be the epicenter of the fandom community! Hosted by Ashley Eckstein, Founder of Her Universe, 25 pre-selected amateur designers ages 18+ will create one of a kind/not for resale couture designs, inspired by anything that is included in The Walt Disney Company family of properties. By the end of the night, two winners are chosen by the audience, and an expert panel of judges and awarded the opportunity to design a fashion collection with Her Universe.
HOW TO ENTER – SUBMISSIONS NOW CLOSED
1. Submissions will be accepted beginning March 20, 2023 through April 28, 2023.
2. Submissions must be “Geek Couture” fashion, not a costume, and can be based on anything that is celebrated within The Walt Disney Company family of properties:
3. One submission form/entry per person. You may include up to three designs on your submission form, but only one, if any, can be chosen. Your design must be your original work and qualify within the pre-determined The Walt Disney Company family of properties.
4. Submission designs may be for women’s, men’s, or unisex fashion.
5. Entries must be received by 4/28/23 11:59 PM PST. Late entries will not be considered. All submissions are final.
6. Finalists will be announced individually via e-mail by 5/12/23.
7. All finalists will need to provide their own styling, makeup, hair design and model at their own expense.
8. All finalists must provide their own travel to and from, and accommodations, in San Diego. Her Universe is not responsible for any travel or accommodation expenses.
9. All finalists MUST be available for a mandatory dress rehearsal on July 19th, 2023 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Diego, CA
